I’m trying to find “trust worthy” information about becoming and ex-patriot in Bolivia. Perhaps a check list of some kind of things to consider, do’s and don’ts, advantages, disadvantages, etc… Again, I really don’t know where to begin...this is a new thought but I know enough that it can be done with my modest expectations.
I am 50 years old, in good heath, and I wish to retire, living simply and peacefully somewhere in world with beauty and real wilderness.
Of course a limited income and slower paced economy is a factor. I began to read about some South American countries on-line mostly…and I was drawn to Bolivia.
Naturally, I thought a "trial run" visit outside of the realm of resort living may be the best way get a small taste of what it like to live there. Any thoughts, help, direction?
