My friend

Life in bolivia is tough stuff mate, I worked as a volunteer in La Paz for a year, and it really felt like the whole place was after me. I felt like that city had a soul, like it lived in opposition to me. It is a really tough place to live.

And I want to go back as soon as I can

Hi,

I think that living in Boilivia is not as easy as in the states but there are so many things to do for the country that you feel alive every minute and it is simply beatiful to live here. You must study the language and the culture to undersatand it, It is wonderful! Family, Frienship and fun are some of the characteristics.

have fun,

DH

It depends on how adaptable you are. If things like random shortages and random blocked highways frustrate you, then you will find Bolivia maddening. If, on the other hand, you can take life as it comes, then Bolivia will be a rich and warm place.

Prices are much, much lower than in the States, or in fact than most places in the world. On the other hand, life is a lot more unpredictable than it is in, say, the States.
