Chrstmas is a very Roman Catholic festivity, we have a manger with Baby Jesus, some families we have the Qusqueño Baby that are from colonial time.We go to midnignt Mass and then we have dinner that is called Picana , it is a soup with chicken, beef, corn speices and also wine , all the family is together and presents are open at midnight. Children receive gifts from Baby Jesus to whom they writte a letter. On January 6 we take Baby Jesus to Mass. It is not so commercial, we express the reason for Christmas, the birth of the Savior, the Manger has animals the 3 Magyis, Vigen Mary and Joseph. Children come to sing and play handmade musicals instruments for Bay Jesus. We have special candies: Turrones and chocolates, Cristmas Day we have chocolate and Buñuelos[puff pastry]
