Are you stupid? Obviously that is a question you already answered in the affirmative by posting such a message in this forum. What has lights in China got to do with travel and expats in Bolivia. Also if you want to address a post to Mr. President you might want to do it in Spanish.

Quite honestly, if I got this as an Email, the first thing that would come to mind is -- SPAM SPAM SPAM!!

I just tried visiting the site and my AntiVirus software blocked access to the site.

Laura Yu, who are you trying to contact? Mr. President is a very vague term. Could you be talking about the Bolivian president? If so I don't think this forum is the best place for you. No offense to this forum, but I highly doubt the Bolivian president is going to be reading it.

Even if I were the country's President and I got this as one of those emergency letters, my first instict would have been, what the hell? Could this person not have made it any shorter. Now that the chances of ever contacting the president are very slim, why don't you cotact the local authorities and forward your lighting proposals? Is this all about Bolivia anyway...yes, export not import.

Quite a good marketing strategy but addressing it to the wrong person..I would listen to Stan if I were you.

You seem like an established organization; do not then just limit yourself to the government sectors..try dissecting through the private sector too.

Better still, you could write a proposal and source for funding. Let people feel that you can come up with feasible projects that re easy to appraise too.

I think the original poster got a little disoriented here. But I have to agree with post number seven, you might want to consider the post of Stanley. You certainly got all the interest and comments from lots of people.
