What kind of good foods are commonly served in Bolivia?

I would like to know what would be some good places to go for young adults from ages 23-25. We would like to know some awesome places to go out at night. Which clubs would be the best to go to, and do any clubs have certain themes or better nights to go than others?

I would try doing a web search to find good places to visit here in Bolivia.

Usually, if you want something really bad you will find and feed your curiosity about that question. Try key in your inquiries or keywords of your inquiries on search engines like Google, Yahoo or any search engine optimization of your choice. Well, I am not saying that don't try the forums but usually it will took some time before other people see your inquiries and by that time you might already know the answers to your questions, so why bother to post it here?

Well, I think almost all your basic questions about Bolivia can be found at their Wikipedia page provided at the link below:

Actually, a web search is not a good idea if your really looking for a real tour for a place, a tour agency also won't fit. What you need is real people living there or someone that can accompany you whose already been to the place where you want to go. Doing a web search will only give you result of the most popular or the most marketed one. Remember, your not trying to write a school paper but more like doing a real-life report for your journey

I agree with Naid. But if it happens that you do not know anyone who had been in Bolivia, what would you do? Or if in case you were introduced to a person who knows Bolivia and all, how sure are you that your accompanied with a trustful guide? I think it would be better still to contact the nearest travel agency in your place. They can provide you with factual information.

This landlocked country boasts the soaring peaks of the Cordillera Real around Sorata and the hallucinogenic salt flats of Uyuni, the steamy jungles of the Amazon Basin and wildlife-rich grasslands of the Southeast. Unparalleled beauty is also reflected in its vibrant indigenous cultures, colonial cities such as Sucre and Potosí, and whispers of ancient civilizations. This is exactly what attracts visitors, and with good reason. Bolivia is now well and truly on travelers’ radars; opportunities for cultural and adventure activities and off-the-beaten-path exploration have exploded. But while most travelers stick to the well-worn paths of the Altiplano, there’s plenty to be found elsewhere, including the tropical east and the lowland regions in the south.

I do agree that if you want to kill your curiosity, then you will do everything there is to do enough internet research. It would be even more necessary if you do not know anyone in the intended travel destination. Here is a link on Bolivian attractions

As is true of any country, to really get to know a place, country or region, it is important to get out there with the people, in practice, become one of them. Learn from them, eat what they eat and drink what they drink. A pair of sneakers, a backpack and hit the road. The movie about el Che telling when he got on a motorcycle with a friend and did a tour of all of South America, is, I think, the right way to go. To do this in Bolivia with its colorful and mysterious people and wild scenery would be monumental. I envy whomever does it!

Some popular food dishes in Bolivia:

* Humitas - Fresh corn with cheese wrapped in corn leaves and steamed. There are some great recipes for Humitas in The South American Table. (See Cookbooks, below.)

* Salteñas - Only eaten in the morning. A warm savory pastry that holds a juicy combination of chicken or meat, greens and sauce, and is cooked in an oven.

* Empanadas - A savory pastry containing cheese or cheese with onion, olives and locoto.

* Sandwich de Chola - Sandwich with roasted pork leg, lettuce and locoto.

* Changa de pollo o de conejo - Soup make with chicken or cuy (guinea pig), potato, peas, avas and green onion.

* Chicharron - Pieces of fried pork, cooked with chicha (see drinks below) and served with stewed corn.

* Charque de llama - Dried llama meat, fried, served with stewed corn, hard cooked eggs and cheese.

* Lechon - Roast suckling pig.

I guess whichever place you are headed to, it is best to sharpen your PR skills because it will really help you access a few things that you cannot get on your own.

That is why it is important to gather as much travel tips as is possible. The reason why most people have different experiences of the same places partly depends on how adventurous they might be.
